What is Housing Appraisal?

Let's talk about valuation before the real estate appraisal. “Appraisal”, also referred to as valuation, can be defined as the process of determining the value of an asset by the relevant expert. Today, "appraisal" is a term that is used instead of the word "valuation" and is accepted.

Real estate appraisal, housing appraisal, or more commonly known as real estate appraisal, is the process of determining the value of a real estate before it changes hands, by independent experts/appraisers, impartially and without any influence. To give an example, the majority of real estate changes in our country consist of residential real estates. Although the houses are subject to cash sale, most of them are realized with loans from financial institutions. Therefore, these institutions need "home appraisal" in determining the value that will be a reference for housing loans.

Housing appraisal reports are reports that not only evaluate the value, but also examine the real estate in terms of technical and legal status. In our country, these reports can be made by real estate appraisers and/or housing appraisers through real estate appraisal companies.
